Week one was a smashing success! After a quick but really great visit with the MCA and Team Leader at the Lake Charles market center, we were back in the RV and headed to Baton Rouge where we would be staying the rest of the week.
From Tuesday to Thursday I visited Zachary, Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Prairieville, LaPlace, Metairie, Mandeville, Slidell, New Orleans Westbank, and New Orleans. Each location was unique; I met some fantastic people and had great conversations with every leadership team member that I spoke with. The overwhelming response to my visits was very positive and I was thankful to have such an ideal start to what I hope is a long, beneficial journey.
To avoid overloading each post with information from every stop I make (since I’ll be making so many) I’ll share insights or interactions from just one or two of the market centers that I visit each week.
The first visit I want to mention is the Zachary market center. I stopped by right after lunchtime hoping to meet with Mikela, the team leader, but she had stepped out. I ended up having a wonderful conversation with Stacey, the MCA. The team there is relatively new, so it was nice to be able to share the benefit of being a Keller Williams approved vendor and what we do for the agents. On my way back home that afternoon, Mikela called and thanked me for stopping by. She was actually on the website during our call and was very appreciative of our product selection and pricing. One of our stated goals as a company is to provide the best possible real estate marketing products and services at a reasonable price, so that was music to my ears.
The second stop I’d like to recount was with the Baton Rouge market center. After meeting Jonathan and Mimi, the Team Leader and the MCA, we were able to sit down and discuss what their agent’s needs are and how a vendor could best serve them. Not only were they considerate enough to give me a considerable amount of time to discuss our website and services, but they were also kind enough to give me several pointers on where to stop next and who to speak with once I got there.
There were many more visits with other fantastic people, but those are two great examples of why I love working with Keller Williams real estate associates.
Stay tuned each week for updates about the tour!
